Share Tennison Group is partnering with a Denver financial services firm to locate several Accounting Analysts for their operations, tax and settlements groups for a 6-9 month project assignment. Accounting Analysts will be responsible for tax, accounting, trading and settlement issues pertaining to the firms separate accounts and sub-advised funds. Accounting Analysts will be responsible for sending account information to custodian banks and accounting agents, accounting for distributions, communicating trade information, handling trade issues, and updating account information. They will assist in fund accounting and questions regarding various portfolio management activities. They will perform daily share reconciliations for the funds.

Qualifications:

• BS in Accounting, Finance or Economics

• 1-2 years of financial services experience

• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Bloomberg (preferred not required)

• Excellent organizational skills

• Strong attention to detail and following tasks through until completion

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; Analyst will be working closely with brokers, custodians, accounting agents, and portfolio management

• Understanding of investment principles

Compensation:

Pay rate between $16.80 – 19.23/hour during the contract period
