The primary responsibility of the Technical Service Specialist is to complete in-house repairs as scheduled by Service staff, and complete appropriate service paperwork. Works with other staff to order parts as needed.

•Certified Mechanic preferred
•High School Diploma or G.E.D.
•1 - 3 years as Golf course or related industry technician preferred, including experience with hybrid and electric repair
•Comprehensive knowledge of machinery, tools and customer relations
•Prior experience with providing technical support via phone fax, email, or on-site preferred
•Must be located near this branch or be willing to relocate without financial assistance
•Must provide own tools

•Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair equipment failures as scheduled for Jacobsen and allied products
•Responsible for reel grinding
•Accrue billable labor hours through warranty and customer pay repairs
•Completes service paperwork and reports as required in a timely manner
•Responsible for outside field service when needed
•Perform new equipment setups when needed
•Ability to follow manufacturers written instructions for proper assembly of product.
•Review schedule regularly for production assignments as prioritized by management
•Responsible for completion of paperwork and reports associated with position, including documenting services and condition of demo products
•Perform to established methods and standards; meeting or exceeding the departments quality and productivity goals
•Work with limited supervision
•Communicate well with others and work in a manner to support a team environment.
•Responsible for maintaining communication to appropriate management and support personnel concerning safety, quality, and any issues as they arise
•Perform other duties within the scope of job assignment as assigned by the management
•Must perform duties in compliance with all safety rules and regulations required by the Company, Local, State, and Federal provisions.
•Responsible for documentation of weekly work activities through completion of weekly time reports
•Responsible for maintaining work space in a clean and professional fashion
•Other duties as assigned by management.
