<p> Director of Communications</p><p> Religious Non for Profit is seeking a Director of Communications to join their team!</p><p> The Director of Communications is responsible for creating and implementing a marketing and communications strategy in support of our warm and welcoming culture, worship opportunities, educational offerings, programming, fundraising strategies and our overall mission.</p><p> This position will report to the Executive Director and will offer the right professional the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization with responsibility to recommend and guide strategy for all communications, including all written and digital marketing material.</p><p> Responsibilities:</p><p> Strategy/Branding</p><p> o In partnership with senior leadership, set strategy for all messaging</p><p> o Work closely with senior leadership (professional and lay) to develop and maintain consistent messaging regarding Temples mission, goals and significant plans.</p><p> Manage institutional communications: Coordinate and draft regular newsletters (print and electronic), event invites and marketing materials for all departments In conjunction with all departments, promote Temple events through both traditional and emerging online platforms; Develop marketing/membership materials (e.g., brochures); Provide editorial support for all departments while ensuring brand consistency. Manage relationships and contracts with outside vendors Creating relationships with local media outlets Manage Communications Budget Graphic Design: o Work with a wide range of media</p><p> o Utilize graphic design software</p><p> o Think creatively to develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts</p><p> Website:</p><p> o Manage website by developing, maintaining, and overseeing content generation</p><p> Newsletters: Design, edit, and produce content for quarterly printed newsletter and weekly electronic newsletter. Board/Lay leadership Interactions: Serve as staff liaison on all communications issues Social Media: Write, edit, and maintain content for social media platforms Ensure that all platforms have a consistent message Approve posts for all platforms before they go live Tailor content to needs of the specific platform (Twitter, Facebook, website, etc.) Ensure social media content supports organizational programs and other community events Report metrics of social media efforts Effectively communicate cross departmentally with marketing, programming, creative services and graphic design to build and meet timelines Actively investigate ways to improve engagement on all social media platforms, including emerging social media outlets Requirements</p><p> 3 to 5 years experience in marketing or public relations, preferably for a nonprofit or religious institution High level of familiarity with web-based marketing systems such as MailChimp, Constant Contact, and SalesForce PC or Mac proficient Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design software Skilled at collaborating with lay leaders and fellow staff members Acute attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects at once Proven ability to meet deadlines with consistently strong results</p><p> Salary commensurate on experience, up to 90k</p><p> Please submit an updated resume in Word format and include your desired salary range.</p>
