Marketing Director

SUMMARY:
The Director of Marketing will direct all marketing and brand initiatives in line with established strategic corporate goals. Will work closely with the Executives, Sales and Product Development Team, and will be the voice of the company and set creative direction for an exceptional marketing team. Will develop a team of direct reports and ensure their continued growth and development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Work with Sales and Product Development to outline goals and define, review and execute marketing plans to obtain sales goals.
•Thoroughly understand company business model, sector, distribution channels, target market, competitive landscape, and product/solution value propositions in order to message effectively.
•Develop and deliver marketing and communications strategies for the organization.
•Produce valuable content for the company's online presence, editorial design and organize the company's publications.
•Maintain and update website by working closely with internal team members and the web development team to ensure it is updated consistently.
•Manage social media presence to improve reputation and recognition.
•Track and measure the performance of all channels to create an evolving strategy
•Work with the Photography staff (China and domestic resources) to provide creative direction.
•Manage all outside vendors (ad agencies, print suppliers, etc.) to ensure highest level of output.
•Manage all marketing projects including annual catalog, packaging and all sales support.
•Forecast a marketing budget and manage marketing operations to track and optimize performance
•Work with the Product Development Team to develop the marketing strategy for new and existing products
•Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
•Oversee implementation of the Marketing strategy - including promotional campaigns, digital marketing, and PR.
•Work closely with the company's sales and product development team enabling them to meet their objectives by providing appropriate tools, materials and presentations
•Work with leadership to develop pricing strategies to maximize profits and market share while balancing customer satisfaction.
•Track and measure the performance of all channels to create an evolving strategy
•Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends.

REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor's Degree
•15 years of equivalent progressive leadership experience in Marketing required.
•Valid Driver's License
•Knowledge of marketing techniques and strategies, and ability to develop, manage and execute ideas and modern marketing themes and strategies from concept to completion.
•Proven leadership skills and ability to develop and manage a successful team
•Must have strong initiative and ability to work independently without close supervision.
•Strong project management and organizational skills
•Ability to work at all levels within the organization.
•Ability to write clearly, concisely and on a deadline.
•Broad working knowledge of digital marketing, customer segmentation methodology, engagement analysis, as well as a solid understanding of digital marketing and social media analytics.
•Able to accommodate frequent travel.
