User Experience UX Research Analyst Jobs

<p> We currently have a full time permanent position for a User Experience UX Research Analyst in Westlake, OH.</p><p> JOB DESCRIPTION The User Experience Research Analyst is a member of the User Experience (UX) team that defines and builds great experiences for our apps and online experiences. The UX Research Analyst utilizes a variety of user research and information gathering techniques, along with your strong creative, conceptual, and problem-solving skills to conduct research that evaluates and influences our experiences for desktop, t, and mobile devices. The research analyst needs to be a collaborative, confident, self-aware, flexible, analytical, problem-solver who advocates for the customer.</p><p> Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and lead customer experience research studies using techniques such as in-person and remote usability testing, product/concept evaluation, and feedback surveys analyze the information gathered to make business and design recommendations for improving the customer experience. Employ creative and innovative qualitative and quantitative research methods to understand the needs of consumers to generate insights useful in evaluating designs and fueling ideation. Communicate results and recommendations with authority using compelling and creative presentation techniques. Partner with key stakeholders, including development, business analysts, operations, project managers, customer care, and testing teams, all while advocating for the best experience for our customers. Take ownership of assigned projects and make decisions with limited supervision. Responsible for other tasks as assigned.</p><p> Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of user interface design, information architecture, and human factors. Existing familiarity with Web and mobile design patterns. Strong presentation skills, particularly when discussing data-heavy topics Familiarity with user research techniques, usability testing, and analytics. Although this is not a coding position, experience with HTML, CSS, Flash, JavaScript, and other user interface development tools will be an asset.</p><p> Required Length & Type of Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience. Experience working on ecommerce apps/sites or rich web applications Demonstrated experience making and supporting recommendations using observed customer behavior and site analytics Bachelor's Degree in related field or degree with relevant work experience.</p><p> Must Have: 1. Knowledge of user interface design, information architecture, and human factors 2. Existing familiarity with Web and mobile design patterns. 3. Strong presentation skills, particularly when discussing data-heavy topics 4. Familiarity with user research techniques, usability testing, and analytics. 5. Experience with HTML, CSS, Flash, JavaScript, and other user interface development tools will be an asset.</p>
