Business Development Director Jobs

Responsibilities
 Works with current and potential customers to promote and leverage company technologies, systems, products and services.
 Establishes and maintains premier customer service.
 Work closely with sales team on customer specific plans.
 Partner with Division Marketing to develop strategic and tactical plans to obtain short and long-term objectives with market research and innovation.
 Work closely with Supply Chain on buy - resale products.
 Develop global growth plan for business unit.
 Identify new business and markets for the division.
 Establish realistic goals and objectives in targeted markets for global growth.
 Identify and commercialize new and existing innovated products.
 Leads strategy deployment for the business unit concentrating on lean initiatives, strategic pricing and strategic procurement.
 Accountable for driving lean initiatives, strategic procurement and strategic pricing initiatives throughout the business unit to ensure they are fully embraced and implemented.
 Develops a budget plan and manages the business unit within budget constraints.
 Run product line P&L.

Requirements
 Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline.
 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Sales, Business Development and Marketing.
 Must come from an industrial product…Electronic, Mechanical, HVACR, Aerospace, Automotive, Consumer Goods, Energy or Medical Device.
 Excellent knowledge of management and marketing principles, industry practices, company and competitor products, technology, and service capabilities.
 Knowledge of business processes; proposal development, contract negotiations, and program management.
 Demonstrated ability to lead people and obtain results through others.
 Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities using effective problem solving / resolution skills and a team focus.
