PCB Assembler Jobs

<p> </p><p> Responsible for the inspection of PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies) and/or electrical/mechanical assemblies using IPC standards, test & measurement equipment and standards/drawings. Identify process improvement opportunities and work to implement process/procedural changes as required. Perform inspection of incoming parts and/or in-process inspection of PCBAs, mechanical assemblies and/or finished products. Inspections to include final insourced PCBA inspection and first piece inspection of PCBAs across all manufacturing processes to include conformal coating. Work closely with members of MFG, Procurement and Quality to ensure good coordination and flow of material. Correlating and analyzing quality results/data to conclude whether a product, process or employee conforms to established requirements. Interpreting quality inspection results/data, to summarize/describe quality trends and associated recommendations. Ensure proper material identification, segregation and storage. Collaborate with Operations and Quality teams to implement containment plans for failed material. Collaborate with Quality to issue Inspection Reports as required. Follow Quality Management System policies, procedures and work instructions. Maintain daily, monthly and quarterly metrics as prescribed. Verify inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained prior to use. Comply with all safety and security rules set out by and the inspection location(s). Required Skill Set High School Diploma or GED as a minimum and 5yrs electro-mechanical inspection experience or equivalent. Must be detailed oriented with abilities to conduct inspections against established requirements, identify non-conformities and report non-conformities for resolution. Ability to read engineering drawings. Effective oral and written communication skills. Desired Skill Set IPC-A-610 Certified with a solid understanding of IPC 610 Class 1, 2 & 3 standards and familiarity with circuit board and electro-mechanical inspections a must Must be proficient in the use of the following: Digital Calipers, Plug Gauges, Thread Gauges, Metric and 10th scales, Work Process Instructions, Assembly Drawings, ability to navigate in a windows environment with an emphasis on outlook and excel. Must possess leadership skills and ability to transfer knowledge to others. Must be able to identify and trouble shoot quality problems and supply feedback to the appropriate people. Must have a flexible personality and be detail-oriented and accurate. Good understanding of lean principles</p>
