Reporting to the VP of Operations Excellence, the Continuous Improvement Manager will lead the improvement and management of a continuous improvement and lean culture using lean and six sigma techniques.</p><p> Responsibilities:</p> Lead the continuous improvement program and continued development of a lean manufacturing program Train and develop staff on lean principles creating a cultural transformation and lean manufacturing mindset Actively find new opportunities for process improvement and reduce production cost Deliver training on continuous improvement and provide comprehensive lean curriculum for engineers, technical support, operations, maintenance and staff throughout the plant Effectively communicate about lean & CI concepts, and provide leadership of the program to both management and hourly employees<p> Requirements:</p> BA/BS degree, preferably in Engineering 5+ years in a manufacturing environment driving lean transformation with proven results Hands on ability to lead teams and implement improvements Lean and/or six-sigma certification would be preferred, (Green or Black Belt) Experience with extrusion or a continuous flow manufacturing process is highly preferred<p> Compensation:</p> 115,000 - 140,000
