<p> Plant Controller</p><p> Elkhart, IN</p><p> We are looking for a Controller to lead financial operations while partnering with the site General Manager to ensure management has accurate and timely financial information, analysis and advice to make rational and data based decisions. Elkhart is their flagship plant located in Elkhart, IN. The site is approximately 1000 FTEs and is comprised of 2 facilities where we contract manufacture aerosol and liquid personal care and OTC products. Revenues are over $250MM. This person must be a strategic leader and mentor of staff with strengths in identifying financial improvements, and determining and implements short and long term strategies concerning profitability, efficiency, and other matters. This position reports to the Director of Finance, KCM Division.</p><p> Essential Job Functions:</p><p> Assists plant management in the decision-making process that allows for profit maximization or cost minimization. ensures adequate policies, controls, and procedures that provide for the protection of company assets are in place, maintained and are followed Implements procedures to ensure that all company financial policies are followed and adequate internal controls are in place. Manages General Ledger, Standard Costing, Inventory Control, and Fixed Asset functions. Prepares annual budgets and periodical forecasting updates. Communicates with plant personnel and observe plant operations in order to assist with and to make recommendations for improvement in plant operations. Monitors approve and analyze plant spending and capital projects. Prepares quarterly, monthly and periodic Financial Reports and Analysis for submission to both Divisional and Corporate management and perform local financial analysis for Plant Management. Works closely with the staff, perpetuate a positive, team-oriented, continuous improvement environment, and provide the coaching and motivation necessary for plant and personal success.</p><p> Qualifications:</p><p> Bachelor's degree with high cumulative GPA. Transcripts will be requested during the interview process</p><p> Certified Public Accountant - (CPA) required Must be a collaborative hands on leader, manages and mentors a small staff Operational Accounting experience in CPG Manufacturing or other manufacturing required Must have experience leading a department with full financial responsibility for an operation with revenues in excess of $175MM Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently and in group settings.
