<p> Position: Project Coordinator Location: San Antonio, TX Duration: Full-time</p><p> </p><p> Description:</p><p> Assists in managing administrative activities associated with special projects and assignments including data collection, management and statistical analysis. Create presentations and graphical representations of data. Conduct literature searches and assist with publications. Prepares preliminary interpretations of analyses for projects and proposals. Develops appropriate methodologies for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data products. Makes routine reports for supervisor. Proofreads intermediate and finished reports. Provides necessary information to user requests and generally maintains an efficient and smooth flow of work within the department. Contribute to problem solving, process design, and analytic report development. Support business objectives in making strategic data-related decisions by analyzing, managing and reporting data. Manage and organize electronic data according to corporate data administration policies and standards in order to ensure that the information needs of the users are met. Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains department database[s]. Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Primary activities and decision making authority are predominantly performed independently affecting business operations to a substantial degree. Maintains necessary files and records. Answers requests for information and special projects and assignments. Performs other duties as assigned.</p><p> </p><p> Qualifications A bachelor's degree in a related science field or business management with five Years experience in business management and grant administration and coordination.</p><p> </p><p> Preferred Qualifications: Ability to analyze, compare and evaluate various courses of action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities. Must possess basic knowledge in fields of finance, marketing and production, analysis and management of data. Strong analytical, evaluation and interpretation skills. Excellent planning and decision making abilities. Proficient and knowledgeable with various computer softwares including Mac iWorks and Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Filemaker.</p>
