Onsite Innovations prides itself on staffing facilities with medical professionals who know the industry, the job, and the injuries that can result.</p><p> Some perks of the job:</p> Paid Time Off Paid Holidays 401(K) Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Continuous Training<p> So what will I be doing?</p><p> The Occupational Health Nurse in collaboration with the overseeing physician coordinates health care for employees in the on-site health care unit within a large industrial setting; reports directly to the company physician and assists designated employer representatives with safety and OSHA initiatives, claim management, and non-occupational disability programs. The occupational health nurse is responsible for communication between Safety, Human Resources and all appropriate contacts regarding case management and workplace injuries as needed.</p><p> A Registered Nurses daily tasks will involve:</p><p> Primary Objectives:</p> Evaluation and case management of workplace injuries Workplace safety and injury prevention Assure compliance with health related OSHA mandates Facilitate employee wellness programs Personal ongoing development and maintenance of professional credentials and certification<p> Position Responsibilities:</p> Respond to in plant medical emergencies and evaluate employees with acute episodic illness and refer to PMD when appropriate. Dictation of all employee visits, communications. Treatment of acute occupational injuries. Track and perform post offer and OSHA physical examinations. Collaborate with the plant medical physician and onsite medical director. Perform drug tests, hearing tests, pulmonary function and fit tests. Maintenance of charts and employee records. Case management of workmans compensation claims in conjunction with the employer representative and insurance carrier. Facilitate return to work and light duty assignments for employees with work related injuries. Maintain current case log for workplace injuries outlining treatment plan for weekly case review. Assure compliance with OSHA programs such as hearing conservation, blood borne pathogen training, random drug screening and follow up programs. Maintain health care unit inventory of medications and supplies. Initiate and facilitate ongoing health and wellness screenings and functions for employees. Coordinate and implement employee wellness programs, including educational initiatives. Assist the employer representative with administration of Non Occupational Disability Program.
