<p> Well known Telecommunications corporation in NYC needs:</p><p> Director of Sales, Telecommunications</p> 5 years Sales Management Experience Extensive knowledge of the Telecommunications Industry<p> Responsibilities:</p> The Director of Sales is responsible for directing and supporting the efforts of the Sales Team to ensure revenue growth, customer retention, and market expansion. Maximize potential revenues; meet or exceed revenue targets by directing and overseeing Sales Channel, developing policies, objectives, and initiatives including sales goals and incentive programs Develop revenue forecasts and win/loss reports on the Business Development Managers overall performance against quota on a monthly basis Evaluate the effectiveness of current sales initiatives and recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential Devise strategies for generating new business through both Direct and Indirect sales Support the Business Development Managers by: Accompanying them on customer and partner appointments as needed Escalating quote or design requests with internally Ensuring that sales orders are flowing through the back-office appropriately Attending meetings in their absence/during scheduling conflicts to represent the company Hold trainings for the Sales team on new products and services Conduct monthly Sales Meetings to review previous months performance; review goals for the coming month; discuss product or service changes or suggestions, marketing needs or ideas; identify, discuss, and solve any issues. Review individual sales funnels and pipelines on a weekly basis provide insight and guidance where applicable Grow the partner channel through active research, attendance at networking events, and support of the BDMs efforts; attend Partner on-boarding meetings to ensure relationships are solidified Strengthen relationships with current Partners to maximize their effectiveness Facilitate a functional relationship between Business Development Managers and back-office personnel Grow the team strategically by defining the ideal candidate and recruiting where appropriate Develop a Direct selling model and recruit appropriate personnel Understand all commissions schedules and ensure they are being properly executed Review current marketing material and identify opportunities to improve brand awareness to aid sales efforts Research and recommend new markets, products, and opportunities in conjunction with Senior Management Participate in weekly Leadership Team meetings<p> Requirements:</p> Bachelors Degree Required; Masters Degree Preferred 5 years Sales Management Experience Extensive knowledge of the Telecommunications Industry Very strong leader/visionary Team Player<p> Skills/Qualifications:</p> Demonstrated track record of achieving Sales targets in a value-added, solutions-driven, technical environment Ability to identify skill/knowledge gaps and address them in a timely manner Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Strategic vision and steadfast accountability Cross functional collaboration skills Intrinsc motivation and strong work ethic Strong follow-up and reporting skills Proficiency in Salesforce and other company systems Excellent time management<p> BASE SALARY TO 150K + BONUS!</p><p> IMMEDIATE INTERVIEW!</p><p> </p><p> Senior Account Manager</p> 3-5 years experience in Telecommunications Account Management<p> Responsibilities:</p> providing service and value to customers and partners by proactively reaching out to account base as well as answering any and all questions from both internal and external customers regarding the customers needs.
