Our clients and employees say they choose to work with us because of how we work with them – with service that exceeds their expectations and a personal commitment to their success.</p><p> About CLIENT: Our client, a global Medical technology corporation serving Healthcare industry & technologies, seeks an accomplished Senior Research Scientist Analytical Chemistry ******************************************************************************************************************* # 17742 Position: Senior Research Scientist Analytical Chemistry Location: Vernon Hills IL 60061 Duration: Up to 12 Months with possible extension</p><p> Job Description: This position would provide analytical chemistry support, including data acquisition, review and database entry, for new product development efforts through analytical methods validation and transfer activities, analytical testing through development to early phase through Phase 3 clinical release and stability, and the authoring and review of relevant supporting documents. Demonstration of developed knowledge of Analytical Chemistry and standard scientific method and techniques, preferably working is a pharmaceutical based environment (development or quality) Ability to conduct various chemistry studies to support existing or new products Develop and execute some experimental plans related to solving a chemistry-related issue Troubleshoot issues that arise and solve problems Understanding of and experience following FDA requirements related to analytical method validations, stability studies, product development and chemical testing requirements for pharmaceutical products Understanding of and experience following GDP and GMP documentation requirements Excellent scientific writing skills, including experience in drafting Certificates of Analyses and summary reports for stability studies and method validations Assist in the maintenance of the stability database, including data entry and review Ability to multi-task various activities (e.g. completing an HPLC analysis, reviewing data and working on a report) Ability to discuss scientific strategies/results and interact with other functional areas, including Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Quality, specifically with respect to analytical method validations, procedures and practices</p><p> Job Requirement: MS/BS in Chemistry /Pharmaceutics with related Analytical Chemistry experience At least 5 years experience in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry is essential Experience with chromatographic techniques (HPLC, GC) wet-chemistry testing techniques (titration, pH compendial methodologies) Experience in executing analytical method transfers and validations, specifically for chromatographic methods Experience in reviewing test protocols, and data generated in support of the protocols Previous experience with interpretation of scientific results and writing scientific protocols / reports Familiarity with method development Work within an FDA regulated environment and familiarity with and experience in meeting cGMP documentation requirements Knowledge of ICH stability testing requirements for pharmaceutical products Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. ******************************************************************************************************************* I’d love to talk to you if you think this position is right up your alley, and assure a prompt communication, whichever direction.</p><p> If you’re looking for rewarding employment and a company that puts its employees first, we’d like to work with you.</p><p> Sajag Bhardwaj Lead Engineering Recruiter ******************************************************************************************************************* NOTE: Candidates that are offered a position are required to pass pre-employment drug and background screening.</p>
