<p>The PositionThe Project Manager (PM) will be part of the IMP Project Management team responsible for project management deliverables to support the IMP Quality US Operations Dept. This will be a 40-hour contract PM position for 6 months, with a potential extension depending on budget and business needs. Based on job responsibilities for this contract PM position, candidate screening will include candidates specifically with project management-focused experience, not IT-focused experience.As the PM position will be supporting several key areas within the IMP Quality US Operations Dept., the ideal candidate would be someone who can manage a number of project tasks and initiatives at one time. This position will require excellent skills in communication (cross cultural), organization, negotiation, and the ability to quickly understand business processes.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities may include, but not limited to, the following: Apply project management skills in the end-to-end oversight of IMP Quality US Operations deliverables and timelines. Develop/monitor timelines, follow up and tracking to completion for assigned IMP project initiatives using project management tools, principles and practices to deliver successfully on time. Project initiatives include the Ops Alignment & Simplification Program workstreams Calculation of project ROI for projects Proactively communicate project issues and concerns providing transparency with key customers and stakeholders in a global setting Ensuring sound decision making principles and agreements and actions are followed up Providing meeting agendas, minutes, and ensure productive discussions that adheres to identified topics and timelines Creation and maintenance of dashboards to help display and communicate project progress Provide timely presentations, updates, and/or reports to Senior Management and stakeholders Training some of the IMP Quality US Operations team members on basic project management skills Other IMP Quality initiatives and deliverables as needed in support of the IMP Quality US Operations teamQUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in science or engineering required. PMP Certification a plus 5-10+ years experience of relevant work in project management in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry with a sound knowledge of (large or small molecule) drug development processes.
