<p>Job Title:Training - Dev Specialist IIIJob Location:Plainfield, INJob Duration: 6 monthsSUMMARY OF POSITION:This position will be responsible for Employee Development Programs plant wide; technical and compliance-based training initiative design and implementation. The primary areas of responsibility will be tactical implementation of technical and compliance-based training initiatives, specifically in the establishment/delivery of consistent, accurate, and on-going training for all employees.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Implements and operates in-house programs, practices, and procedures for all hourly and salaried personnel, particularly new hires. Design and implement Train the Trainer programs to enable other supervisors and employees to carry out training tasks. Directing key personnel on daily tasks to ensure roles and responsibilities are being completed. Keeps abreast of training and development techniques. May use and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer in-house training programs. Implementation of all technical and compliance-based training initiatives, including design, logistics, delivery, metrics and maintenance. Provide timely updates including providing metrics indicating the quality of the technical and compliance-based training program. Interact with training colleagues, staff, customers, management, consultants, contractors, and vendors in a professional, collaborative, respectful manner to ensure that their technical and compliance-based training requirements are met. Measures competency and mastery of subject matter through various assessment techniques. Coordinates schedules, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. Ensure compliance with all compliance based training initiatives is up-to-date and accurate by working with all customers. Complete assessments, collect data from management, design and implement the annual regulatory training for all employees including reserving space, meals, training contractors, etc. Overhaul existing on boarding process to ensure transition of new employees is productive and successful. Assist with all new employee orientations at the site Maintain communication with site senior management at all times to allow identification/timely resolution of any technical and compliance-based training-based training issuesDEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:All employees are expected to pay attention to and work in support of a safe and healthy work environment. This includes following the established rules, policies and practices of environmental, health and safety with specific attention to the Healthcare Cardinal Rules.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Education required/ preferred: BS/BA in Instructional Design, Human Resources, and/or Organizational Development, or related field.Experience: (3-5) practical experience in a manufacturing environment applying concepts for an Adult Workforce preferred. Experience in managing training projects including timelines, resources and deliverables. Preferred Experience designing certification programming, structured OJT and observable forms of assessment TWI or similar methodology experience a plus Experience with the design of training using various training media including e-learning Experience with various tracking metrics, identification, use, interpretation, trends and presentation Experience with developing curricula based on the needs of the business.Preferred Skills/Qualifications: High degree of organization and flexibility with the ability to prioritize responsibilities as needs require. Excellent Collaboration/Relationship building skills An understanding of regulated industry Excellent technical and compliance-based writing skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Excellent meeting facilitation and strong presentation skills.Skills/Competencies: LMS experience (Cornerstone preferred). Strong Computer Skills (Microsoft Office) Organizational skills a must. Must have the ability to work independently and handle many tasks at one with constant interruptionORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS/SCOPE:This position reports to the HR Manager. This position does not require the supervision of other employees.</p>
