This group is focused on maintaining strong financial controls, providing accurate financial reporting, ensuring proper accounting via robust processes, and utilizing automated/complex tools.</p><p>This position will be part of the Client Wholesale Group Controllers team that supports WF Capital Finance (ClientF), a line of business in the Wholesale Division. We are looking for a strong accountant to add value to the line of business through sophisticated accounting guidance. The accountant will perform complex activities associated with maintaining ledger accounts and developing financial reports.</p><p>Responsibilities Conducting qualitative variance analysis of ClientF business lines and segments Maintaining knowledge of current accounting practices Identifying and implementing new accounting policies and procedures that impact ClientF Ensuring compliance with internal and external accounting principles and policies Creating, implementing and maintaining processes to ensure financial reporting accuracy Assisting in the month-end close process Maintaining the General Ledger, which includes the management of the chart of accounts, and creation of new accounts, AUs, companies and CAAS combinations, as required Reconciling key GL Accounts Assist in key Accounting Projects geared toward automation of manual processes and technical accounting Reviewing transactions and balances from the general ledger, unit reports and various financial loan systems to ensure accuracy Other tasks as assigned</p><p>Required Qualifications</p><p>4+ years of accounting experience</p><p>Desired Qualifications</p><p>A BS/BA degree or higher in accountingCPA-Certified Public Accountant designationStrong accounting skillsIntermediate Microsoft Office skillsStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsA BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economicsA Master of Business Administration or designation as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsGood analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsAbility to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environmentAbility to write concisely and clearly</p><p>Salary Information</p><p>The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.</p><p>NC-Charlotte: Min: $54,000 Mid: $75,000 Max: $96,000CA-Santa Monica: Min: $59,400 Mid: $82,500 Max: $105,600</p><p> Applicant meets the basic qualifications in the job description</p>
