Our clients and employees say they choose to work with us because of how we work with them – with service that exceeds their expectations and a personal commitment to their success.</p><p></p><p>About CLIENT:</p><p>Our client, an American multinational manufacturer and marketer of home appliances, seeks an accomplished Test Technician</p><p>*******************************************************************************************************************</p><p>Position: Test Technician</p><p>Location: Benton Harbor MI 49022</p><p>Duration: upto 6 Months with possibility to extend</p><p></p><p>Pay Rate: $20 – $22/hr (depending on experience)</p><p></p><p>Relocation Assistance/ Interview Expenses: NO</p><p></p><p>JOB DESCRIPTION:</p><p>You will develop a strong understanding of appliance operations and lab procedures and apply it to specific projects within the Electronics & Electrical Systems Organization(EES).In this position, you’ll gather knowledge through robustness test results and apply that information to analyze problems for root cause. The technician is also responsible for maintaining a strong communication link to the supervisor and related project team members.Perform testing on controls or appliances to determine their susceptibility Elecromagnetic phenomena.Setup a data acquisition and/or an OPTO-22 controller system to monitor and regulate power to controls.Handle multiple projects concurrently.Record and compile data and communicate results via written/electronic format. Write draft/preliminary reports.Sustain order in the laboratory through Lean5S practice.</p><p></p><p>JOB REQUIREMENT:</p><p>Associates Degree in Electronics TechnologyBasic knowledge of lab & safety procedures.Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic technologies; AC/DC circuitry, 120VAC/240VAC/230-50Hz. Ability to read an electrical schematic.Ability to use basic technical equipment: DMM, Agilent/Opto-22 or equivalent data acquisition, soldering equipment, wire crimpers.Computer skills: MS Word and Excel. Knowledge of Google environment desired.Be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds – occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
