<p>We currently have a full time permanent position for a Social Media Manager in Fresno, CA.</p><p>The ideal candidate will be passionate about figuring out how best to reach and share information across owned channels and social media platforms. In this role you will live and breathe content and understand how it impacts B2B target audience segments, establishes credibility, and communicates thought leadership. The role will be accountable for driving achievement against metrics and will measure and report on the effectiveness of his/her efforts to optimize activities and track ROI. Your experience will include social strategy, producing and conceptualizing creative blog content, and day-to-day community management. You will manage all content marketing initiatives across multiple platforms and formats to drive lead generation and brand awareness. The ideal candidate has proven experience with content and channel optimization, brand consistency, segmentation and localization, analytics and meaningful measurement. You think like a journalist and can lead the development of content initiatives in all forms to drive new and current business.</p><p></p><p>The Social Media Manager will function in a B2B product and brand management function, to support the Marketing Department in the following areas:Collaborate with marketing and PR, sales, product line and leadership teams to help define both the brand story and the story as interpreted by the customerCreate a content strategy and editorial calendar that supports and extends marketing initiatives, both short- and long-term, determining which methods work best for the brand and whyBuild and maintain B2B social profiles (LinkedIn/Twitter/Instagram, specifically) as part of overall recommendationHelp establish a streamlined process and workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring contentCreate and strategically recycle/repurpose highly targeted, multi-channel collateral for each stage of the sales and customer lifecycle.Be the subject matter expert for social media best practices and policiesLive coverage of events on social media, both in person and remotePartner with PR, Innovation & Quality and Product Marketing teams to ensure social amplification on key communicationsEngage and educate employees in becoming brand ambassadors, actively participating on the social webBuild collaborative relationships and leverage subject-matter experts internally and externally i.e., freelance, industry influencers, internal thought leaders, product marketing, customers and partners.Help manage, curate and contribute to the company intranetPlan and manage webinar programsCopy edit all contributed contentWork with marketing team, PR agency and messaging firm to craft press-worthy stories and build content programs around them.Ensure that all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and social promotion.Track, measure and report on key social metrics monthly to prove and improve ROI of social efforts. Champion these results across the companyLiaise with leadership teams to analyze performance metrics and adapt strategy as neededAssist the Corporate Brand and Content Managers in researching and developing a corporate point of view on emerging trends, specific products, and moreCoordinate with internal teams to promote company initiatives and amplify external communicationsDevelop social advertising program to build following on profiles, drive impressions and strong engagement</p><p></p><p>Skills and Experience Necessary for the RoleExperience with B2B marketing and/or content marketingSuperior written and verbal communications skillsProven ability to represent a brand or cause on social mediaPossess a passion for learning new marketing technologies, strategy, and best practicesAbility to build and execute plans involving multiple internal teams or stakeholdersAbility to work with a variety of personality types and handle a fast-paced environmentCapacity to ask questions and track down answers with confidence, and lead projects/programs with minimal directionCollaborative work style; skill in working independently and in cross-functional teamsBasic understanding of content management systems, SEO and keyword research and web analytics toolsMust provide writing samples or link to portfolioAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and the ability to prioritize and seek guidance when multiple projects are competing for the same limited resourcesDemonstrated success in a mid-senior level B2B editorial or content marketing role, preferably with a background in food and/or agricultureDemonstrated social and digital communications expertise, keeping up on latest trends and changes in platformsAbility to take complex ideas or technologies and simplify them for a broader readershipMeticulous attention to detail with outstanding writing, proofreading, fact checking and editing skillsCreativity and a healthy sense of humorHigh energy and proactive attitude; self-starter3-5 years of experienceBachelors degree required</p>
