Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this role will be responsible for efficiently allocating available resources to specific tasks and projects to ensure the highest level of customer service is maintained. This position will also contribute to Business Unit strategies and overall Business aims by achieving specific operational targets and providing a working environment which encourages team work, energy and creativity by motivating, managing and developing people.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p> Managing and directing all manufacturing functions in accordance with customer requirements, company policies and procedures Providing strategic leadership to the site team in continuous improvement efforts, cost control and operational efficiency Ensuring that appropriate production and distribution processes, quality methods, equipment and working environment are designed to meet customers specifications Troubleshooting operational challenges and implementing improvement processes/systems to increase flexibility and productivity reduce inventory levels and minimize costs Achieving Operations KPIs Identifying strengths and weaknesses to build and develop employee and management teams. Preparing and implementing strategic operational plans to support business growth Providing a proactive, dynamic and effective communication with Customer Service and Sales<p>Requirements:</p> BS/BA degree 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role Foundry experience preferred Proven results leading and implementing a lean culture Experience interfacing with vendors/suppliers<p>Total Compensation:</p> 115,000 - 135,000
