Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position will direct and coordinate daily maintenance while coordinating engineering, tooling, assembly, controls, equipment maintenance, environmental issues, and safety issues to ensure efficient plant operations.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p> Manage and lead industrial, process and mechanical engineering including tooling and maintenance teams Responsible for key performance indicators across engineering and continuous improvement to ensure manufacturing excellence Monitor production and engineering project labor requirements and partner with appropriate people to schedule technical resources Research, establish and implement requirements for equipment, tooling, materials and methods of manufacturing to include costing Supervise maintenance department while developing and maintaining a preventive maintenance program Engage employees in Continuous Improvement Conduct projects to develop and improve manufacturing methods and processes for production of various company product lines Initiate and justify capital expenditures and manage to capital budget<p>Requirements:</p> Bachelor's degree preferred in a related technical field (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering) or equivalent experience Background in Tier 1 Automotive manufacturing including three years in plastics processing and two years in production supervision Six Sigma or Lean methodology knowledge preferred<p>Total Compensation:</p> 130,000 - 160,000
