<p>Large engineering firm in NYC needs:</p><p>Environmental Engineer</p><p>Engineer : Environmental Site Remediation Design</p> 3+ years exp in environmental remediation system design. Engineer with 3+ years of experience to support our Environmental Remediation practice in the New York City area. Must have experience with site remediation design (SVE, air sparging, SSDS, multi-phase extraction, in-situ chemical oxidation/bioremediation, etc.) for sites in New York City and/or the surrounding metropolitan area.<p>Requirements:</p> Bachelors and/or masters degree in engineering. E.I.T. Certification. OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification. Proficiency in CAD. Experience in Revit is a plus. Experience (3+ years) in environmental remediation system design. Experience preparing remedial alternative analyses/feasibility studies. Experience performing construction oversight/inspections and system start-up, and implementing system operation and maintenance, and monitoring (OM&M) plans. Strong writing and communication skills and decision-making abilities. Knowledge and understanding of New York City building/mechanical/plumbing code and NYSDEC/NYCOER/NYCDEP regulations.<p>IMMEDIATE INTERVIEW!</p><p>Environmental Data Management Specialist</p><p>Responsibilities:</p> assist with the collation, management, interpretation and presentation of environmental data across multiple client projects. Duties include the management of environmental field and lab data within an SQL based database system for key clients. work alongside project teams to produce tabular and graphical outputs, liaise with laboratory partners to ensure high levels of data QA/QC are maintained, and support the wider Environmental/Hazmat team activities. Assist in optimizing and managing the department strategy for providing Environmental Data Management services to internal and externalclients. Provide technical expertise in the management and use of Earthsoft EQuIS systems and other data interpretation software (e.g. GIS, CAD, etc). This may include providing in-house training for colleagues Design, manage and support EQuIS databases and associated project workflows for storing environmental data. Assist in developing a company-wide standard format for collecting and reporting data. Carry out project work including designing analytical outputs and reports to complement and assist with environmental management objectives on client projects. Keep up to date with relevant environmental database software developments. Keep up to date with skills on a professional development basis. Maintain company and department QA/QC procedures for data management. Carry out associated project tasks in accordance with the company standards. Manage time and workload effectively to achieve project objectives within defined budget constraints.<p>Requirements:</p> B.S. in Environmental Sciences or B.E. in a relatable area a minimum of 2-3+ years of experience in environmental consulting using EQuIS database management software. Experience with GIS integration is strongly preferred. demonstrate good attention to detail, have the ability to work effectively within a variety of situations, communicate effectively and work co- operatively as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
