SUMMARY:
The role of Quality & Office Support Assistant coordinates and supports the Quality system and any office support of the plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Assist/support/maintain the Quality system and follow-up on master plan and scorecard.
•Support, follow-up and maintain all departmental documentation.
•Follow-up with the Facility Service Help Desk requests and communicate throughout the facility.
•Coordinate any requested service needs.
•Assist the Regional Director in the planning of the departmental objectives.
•Conduct/coordinate TNA (Training Needs Analysis) and competence evaluations together with all departmental Supervisors and Managers.

REQUIREMENTS:
•A degree or a minimum 3 years’ experience as an assistant for a manufacturing organization or similar.
•Experience in working with a Quality System.
•Knowledge of working in bigger plants, within the auto industry or similar manufacturing industry
•Strong skills in Microsoft software and Computer abilities
•Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as advanced analytical and critical thinking skills
•Leadership skills and the ability to think strategically and possess a broader view.
•Excellent Service skills and a high Customer Focus
•Strong communication skills and ability to build good relationships
•High moral and integrity
•Ability to articulate complex issues
•Continuously works to protect and enhance Volvo’s reputation
•Listens to others; respects their differences.
•Ability to communicate, persuade and make effective formal presentations.
•Ability to utilize a PC to communicate, track trends and retrieve relevant information.
